Bobcats may look like large housecats, but their short little tails and tufted ears give them away. Like their larger cougar cousins, bobcats are secretive and are unlikely to be spotted by most people in a lifetime. Indeed, catching a glimpse of one in the wild is a rare and fortunate event.

The 12 bobcat residents at the Fund for Animals' Wildlife Center in California got a big boost from a group of volunteers who remodeled the wild cats' enclosure.
