Depending on pack ice for their habitat, polar bears are threatened by climate change—and by traffic in their fur and parts.

As the ice that supports the species diminishes, polar bears’ numbers are dwindling too. The bears need us to ensure that hunters, the oil and fishing industries and avoidable human-bear conflicts don’t add to the pressure on these beautiful mammals.
