Updates

Nov. 28: The cats have been placed with our shelter and rescue partners to find loving homes. We are happy to hear that many of the cats have been adopted and are enjoying life in their new homes!

Nov. 7: After almost a month of care and veterinary treatment, the cats are ready to look for loving homes through our shelter and rescue partners.

Right now, the cats are at a safe, undisclosed location where they are receiving much-needed veterinary care. Several of the cats have already been placed—please contact the individual organizations below for more information on fostering or adopting.

Oct. 17: Read today's blog about this rescue!

Oct. 11: Our Animal Rescue Team helped rescue 110 cats and kittens from a large-scale alleged cruelty situation at a commercial breeding operation in Virginia.

According to USDA inspection records, the breeder had more than 50 Animal Welfare Act violations just this year for failing to provide safe conditions or adequate veterinary care. Reports mention emaciated cats, poor living conditions, a lack of veterinary care and a kitten at the facility who died after weeks of deteriorating without much-needed medical attention.

This is an ongoing situation. Donate now to help these animals get the care they need and support all our lifesaving work.
